GENERAL INFORMATION
Dates 13th-15th November, 2008 Venue Hotel "Excelsior" Dubrovnik Croatia www.hotel-excelsior.hr Registration desk The registration desk will be opened in front of Conference Hall in Excelsior Hotel from Wednesday, 12th November 17:00-20:00, Thursday and Friday (13th and 14th November) 08:00-18:30, and Saturday, 15th November 08:00-13:00. Registration includes admission to the symposium, symposium documentation and bag (including abstract book and programme book), welcome cocktail, working lunch on Thursday and Friday, coffee breaks, and social events (dinners on Thursday and Friday). Language The official language of the SERIN meeting is English CME Credits SERIN is accredited by EAACI CME Accreditation Council (15 points). Lunch and coffee breaks Coffee and tea will be served in front of Conference Hall. Lunch will be served in the restaurant one floor below the Conference Hall. Dress code Informal for all events. Presentations According to Scientific Committee decisions and authors' preference, the presentations are divided into oral presentations (8 + 2 min), short oral presentations (4 + 1 min), and poster presentations during poster sessions. Oral presentations Oral presentations should be planned for 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes discussion and short oral presentations for 4 minutes presentation and 1 minute discussion. No extra time will be allowed. Short oral presenters are given opportunity to present their paper also as a poster. The authors should give their presentations in the power-point format on a CD or a stick to the staff at the slide preview desk at least 1 hour before the session when presentation is planned. The only accepted format of presentation is PPT. Video VHS presentations are not available. Poster exhibition and sessions Posters should be mounted in Section A of the Conference Hall, on Thursday and Friday, according to the programme schedule and numbers. Poster dimensions are 70 cm width and 90 cm height. Posters should be mounted before 09:00 on the day of presentation and removed after 18:30. Poster sessions by the posters will be held during lunch break and presenters should present the poster to the moderators. Publication Abstracts are published in the Abstract book. Abstracts will be also published in the journal „Acta Clinica Croatica“ which is on PubMed and has free online access. Tourist information The tourist information on Dubrovnik is given in the symposium bags.
